Healing the Wounded Child (60 minutes)
Healing the Wounded Child helps us see all the patterns that are hidden from view and eliminate those limiting beliefs that get in the way of being all we can be. Many clients reach out to me because they have relationships or life patterns that they are tired of repeating. The healing is done by giving the wounded part of you an opportunity to feel safe, loved, seen, and heard. I will help you connect with your inner child in the most loving, compassionate way, encouraging you to heal and create a new mindset and practices that will help you to continue to have a positive, loving and lasting relationship with your inner child.
Healing the Wounded Child takes you on a journey of self-reflection to help you stop repeating the negative cycles that may be holding you back finding the “core reason” for your current struggles. By healing wounds from your past, you can free yourself from distractions that prevent you from living the peaceful, productive, and fulfilling life you deserve. We can all free ourselves from prior hurt, struggles, and mistakes. Otherwise, memories of being alone, scared, and sad can surface as feelings of abandonment and trauma in early life that continue through adulthood. You may find yourself making the same mistakes or consistently self-sabotaging.
When our inner child is healthy, we tend to feel invigorated, inspired, and excited. However, when our inner child is wounded from past trauma that has not been healed, we feel detached from them. When we ignore the inner child, as adults, we feel disconnected from life, tired, empty, and unhappy.
The healing begins as we unravel the past hurt, false beliefs or identities that we took on in order to keep the inner child safe. We can learn to look at the situation not as the victim but with a much clearer understanding and a new way of approaching life feeling back in control of our situations from the past, present and moving forward.
